Rambo® Turnouts are made form Super Strong Ballistic Nylon - the stuff they make bullet-proof vests from; you can’t get much tougher than that. Ballistic Nylon is substantially stronger and more durable than most other fabrics. On close inspection, a Rambo® Turnout can withstand many years of use and wear. Horseware's research and development is second to none and they have worked tirelessly to become the worlds leading rug manufacturer.

The Horseware Rambo Duo 2 in 1 Turnout Rug also benefits from -

  • Chest Trigger Clips have been fixed on an inward angle to strengthen them and ensure they are fastened correctlytowards the horses’ chest.
  • PVC Coated Tail cord replaces the usual Fillet strap. This makes it easier to clean.
  • Stainless Steel hardware prevents rusting and is incredibly strong and hardwearing.
  • Quick Release surcingle straps will free should your horse become dangerously caught in his surcingle straps to help prevent injury. This also will help prevent any damage to the rug.
  • Anti-bacterial lining eliminates bacteria, which multiply inthe presence of dirt, moisture and heat, which can cause infections and allergies. The hydrophilic nature of the lining will conduct moisture away from the horses’ body where it will then be absorbed by Horseware’s unique AquaTrans™ coating.

Measure Your Rug

Fitting Guide

  1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg (A to B).
  2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
  3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
  4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
  5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
  6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.
