The SupaStuds SS005 Large Conical Stud is a longer stud, measuring at approx. 25mm in length (excluding threaded section). They are particularly popular with show jumpers, as the SS005 has been designed to give precision response in deep going, allowing enough grip for tighter turns around a course.These studs are not suitable for use on ponies and are recommended for use on the outside of the shoe, due to the risk of striking the opposite leg when used on the inside. A combination of a shorter stud on the inside, with SS005 on the outside, is recommended for that extra grip.
