Inside the boot, Kanyon have designed a construction that incorporates a waterproof membrane up to the bottom of the elastic calf panel. The upper is a 1.8-2.0mm thick full grain cowhide leather with a water resistant treatment tanned in to the leather. As well as being functional, the leather looks great and has a waxy vintage finish.
The outsole is a development originally designed specifically for the Gorse-X boot. It is made with hard wearing rubber and is designed to offer good all round grip as we all being suitable for riding, if required. Its suitability for riding is derived from the closed cleat edges of the outsole reducing the risk of the boot catching on the stirrup in the event of falling from the horse, as well as the sharp heel breast for a secure hold in the stirrups.
