SWABS: All visiting
mares must have a veterinary certificate stating that the mare has been swab
tested and is free from infection.
EVA: All mares must
be blood tested for EVA and test results produced
BLACKSMITH: Mares &
foals will have their feet trimmed when necessary & the owner will be
charged accordingly
WORMING: Mares &
foals will be wormed every 4—6 weeks and the owner charged accordingly
VET FEES: All
expenses incurred for visits, examinations & medicines will be payable
directly to the Vet
Mares may be kept
stabled if requested. The stud has the right to feed or stable grass kept
mares as they consider most beneficial to the care of the mare and / or
foals if the weather changes for the worse, and the owners will be charged
accordingly.
Keep fees may be raised if a mare is not removed
within a reasonable period after the owner has been notified that she is
ready for collection.
Stud Fees are due at
the times of first service. Keep fees are due on a monthly basis. Visiting
mares and / or foals may not be removed until all Stud Fees and Keep Fees
have been paid.
Mares whilst at the
Stud will receive every possible care, attention and supervision, but no
responsibility can be taken for accident or disease. Veterinary assistance
will be called in when deemed necessary and will be chargeable to the owner.
All mares are served at their owner’s risk and no responsibility can be
accepted for injury, damage or loss caused through trying or serving any
mare.
