The Horseware Amigo range now has easy to remember branding of its fantastic rugs. The Hero 6 stands for the 600 denier polyester outer which is waterproof and breathable. The Plus denotes that this rug comes complete with a detachable neck cover meaning you can put it on or remove it during changable weather. 200g Medium in the title means that this rug has a 200g fibrefill filling, making it great for those colder months when the horse needs a bit of warmth.

The Amigo Hero 6 Plus 200g Medium Turnout Rug also comes with a shine enhancing polyester lining, double front closures and the classic original cut of Horseware.

Measure Your Rug

Fitting Guide

  1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg (A to B).
  2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
  3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
  4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
  5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
  6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.
