The Rambo Supreme with Vari-Layer is our new addition to the Supreme style with Vari-Layer technology for less weight and more heat. The ballistic nylon outer with thermobonded fibrefill, antibacterial and antistatic polyester lining is comfortable great for the horses coat. It offers 250g of warmth at the top of the rug (across the back) and 100g across the bottom.
Waterproof and breathable it will ensure your horse is kept dry and comfortable throughout wear.
This innovative new rug also comes with some well known Horseware features. These include tail flap, reflective strips, wipe clean tail cord, patented V-front closure system and leg arches as standard. Also compatible with the Horseware liner system. This rug comes with a removable hood, with a replacement hood available on request.

In a standard blanket, 80% of heat loss is concentrated in 40% of the surface area. With this knowledge in mind, Horseware® Ireland introduces Vari-Layer into the Horseware rug line. Vari-Layer increases fiber coverage across the horse's back and hips to decrease heat loss. The layering of fiber allows the blanket to wrap closely around the horse, trapping heat with less weight in the overall horse rug. The effect of gravity compression on the blanket fill is lessened, and the blanket stays fuller longer.
