The Bucas Optima Shaped Jump Girth is a modern and anatomically shapes design that provides comfort and freedom of movement around the elbow area.

Designed combining two unique fibre innovations: the first being a Bucatex heat bonded fabric, similar to a wetsuit layer is next to the horse’s skin for optimal comfort. The outer side being a wipe clean and aerated fabric offering flexibility and shape retention.  

Suitable for use with jump and GP saddles the specially shaped wider mid-section ensure pressure is distributed evenly throughout the chest area, it specifically acts as a stud girth when jumping.

Finished with stainless steel buckles attached with a triple layer elastic for additional comfort through regulated pressure distribution and a D-ring is fitted to attach training aids.

Fitting Guide

  1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg.
  2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
  3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
  4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
  5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
  6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.
