The Bucas Buzz-Off Full Neck Fly Rug is a popular choice for use in the field through the warmer months, made from a specially developed lightweight fine mesh fabric that helps lock out flies and protects against the sun bleaching your horse’s coat.

Designed to provide protection for your horse’s body while they graze, this fly rug features and elasticated and detachable belly pad to ensure that the rug is kept in place as well as protecting the belly from insects and flies. An integrated neck provides extra coverage.

Further features of this fantastic Buzz-Off rug include a front T-bar fastening with Snap-lock closure, along with shoulder darts and leg straps. This Bucas Rug also has a fillet string and generous tail flap.

    Fitting Guide

    1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg.
    2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
    3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
    4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
    5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
    6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.

     

    Professional Opinion
    I love the design of the Bucas rugs. The Stay-dry material, which wicks away moisture, is fab as it means the horses dry quickly, keeping them warm in winter but cool in summer. They also fit the horses really well, never slipping, with an overlap at the front to protect the chest from being rubbed. The detachable surcingles make the rugs easy to use and wash. We particularly like the Power Cooler range as they can be layered which makes keeping the horses comfortable at competitions a lot easier. - Ruth Asquith, Nicola Wilson’s travelling groom.
