The Sprenger KK Ultra Loose Ring Aurigan Snaffle Bit features a middle link known as the bean that is shortened and angled forward. This ensures the bit lies gently on the tongue and results in even and constant contact to allow clear instructions through the reins.
Providing and incomparable, precise contact between rider and horse, you can normally see a huge improvement immediately after switching to the KK Ultra bit. The ergonomical mouthpiece is shaped like the horse's tongue and therefore takes up less room in the mouth without putting any pressure on the palate.
This bit takes advantage of the exceptional sensitivity of the horse's tongue. When the reins are pulled the middle part of the KK ULTRA fully rests on the tongue without squeezing and the connection rings roll on the tongue. The tongue's sense of touch is utilised and clear instructions can be given.
Aurigan®:
Aurigan was Sprenger’s first patented material to be developed specifically for the horse’s mouth. Made from 85% Copper, 4% Silicon and 11% Zinc, this material warms up extremely quickly in the horse’s mouth.
Oxidation increases the horse’s saliva production and encourages the horse to chew the bit, providing a better acceptance.
