The Rambo Tech Duo 50g Turnout Rug is a sporty design that has been crafted to offer high levels of protection against the elements, optimum comfort for your horse and ease of use for you!

One of the strongest turnouts on the market, the Duo has been made with a tough 1000D ballistic nylon waterproof and breathable outer and an anti-static, anti-bacterial shine enhancing polyester lining. 50g of thermobonded fibrefill provides superior and long-lasting heat retention.

Included with the outer turnout is a 50g detachable hood, 100g removable liner and an Airmax removable liner, allowing you versatility depending on the weather! The Airmax liner is a lightweight choice that enables you to put your turnout back on your horse straight after exercise before your horse is dry, saving you time! This rug is compatible with The Horseware Liner System

A Surefit Neck design with V-Front closure and leg arches gives optimum freedom of movement when grazing, essential in an outdoor rug! Three secure cross surcingles ensure the rug stays in place.

Finished with chest trigger clips that have been fixed on an inward angle to strengthen them and ensure they are fastened correctly towards the horses’ chest, while a PVC Coated Tail cord replaces the usual fillet strap which is harder-wearing and easy to clean.

Measure Your Rug

Fitting Guide

  1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg (A to B).
  2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
  3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
  4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
  5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
  6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.

  • Is it possible to order a 300g liner to cater for the colder temperatures?

    Hello Angelika, thank you for your query. Yes, of course, we have an array of 300g liners on our website compatible with this rug. Due to the colder months, we do agree it's wise to upgrade the thickness of the liner. HERE is a link to the Horseware 300g liners on our website.
