{"id":1001,"date":"2022-03-01T14:34:46","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T14:34:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.citrus-lime.com\/redp\/?p=1001"},"modified":"2022-09-23T11:14:04","modified_gmt":"2022-09-23T10:14:04","slug":"redpost-beta-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.citrus-lime.com\/redp\/redpost-beta-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Award Nominations for Redpost Equestrian"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Redpost Equestrian is celebrating a bumper year of award nominations, named as a <strong>finalist in four categories<\/strong> at this year\u2019s <strong>British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) Awards<\/strong>, which will take place on 24th March 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The nominations follow a fantastic year for the Redpost team, who are celebrating the company\u2019s 30th anniversary in 2022. Born from humble beginnings, <strong>Redpost was established in 1992<\/strong>, when John &amp; Louise Tuff first came to Devon. The shop grew and grew and was taken online by their son Ben and his wife Claire in 2012. Today, Redpost has become the premier equine and country shopping destination in the South West and online, reaching customers across the globe, and is proud to still be <strong>family-run and independent.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on the news, Director Ben Tuff said: \u201cWe are blown away to receive these nominations. It\u2019s competitive just to be considered, so to be in the running for four awards is <strong>an incredible achievement<\/strong> and means so much to us. We are enormously proud of the team, who continue to work incredibly hard, and we\u2019re hugely <strong>grateful to our amazing customers<\/strong> who nominated us for these prestigious awards.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote is-style-default\" style=\"border-color:#f78da7\"><blockquote class=\"has-text-color has-black-color\"><p>Redpost started in a building once used as a pigsty<\/p><cite>Ben Tuff, Director<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As a finalist in both the <strong>Retail Store<\/strong> and <strong>Mail Order\/Online<\/strong> sections of the <strong>Zebra Products Retailer of the Year<\/strong> category, Redpost supports a thriving equestrian community, both locally and worldwide. \u201cRedpost started life as a small animal feed and tack shop that we built DIY-style in a building once used as a pigsty. The store was affectionately <strong>known by the locals as \u2018Aladdin\u2019s Cave\u2019<\/strong>, but we outgrew it several years ago. We finally moved into our purpose-built new shop last year, which occupies 5,000 square feet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re still on the same site, in the heart of the lovely Devon countryside, and customers can also now sit down for coffee and lunch in our caf\u00e9 which adjoins the new shop. Some of our <strong>customers have been coming to us for 30 years <\/strong>\u2013 they\u2019ve watched us grow and are an integral part of our journey. The online side, which ships to customers all over the world, continues to grow <strong>beyond anything we could have imagined.<\/strong> Customers can also download the Redpost mobile app to connect with us on the go.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote is-style-default\"><blockquote><p>Georgie lives and breathes equestrian products &amp; fashion<\/p><cite>Ben Tuff, Director<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>WeatherBeeta Retail Employee of the Year<\/strong> category, Sales Specialist <strong>Georgie<\/strong> <strong>Walker<\/strong> flies the Redpost flag. \u201cGeorgie lives and breathes equestrian and country products and fashion,\u201d says Ben. \u201cShe loves helping customers with everything from fitting their first hat, to designing their dream pair of boots.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Redpost is also in the running for the <strong>TSM Marketing Effectiveness Award<\/strong> after a busy year. \u201cBuilding a digital as well as local <strong>community has long been our vision<\/strong>, and we strengthened our team going in to 2021. This has allowed us to achieve things that were previously out of reach; highlights have been working with more riders and influencers, <strong>launching the Redpost mobile app<\/strong>, and creating more video content to connect with our audience\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote is-style-default\"><blockquote><p>We&#8217;ve achieved things that were previously out of reach<\/p><cite>Ben Tuff, Director<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re really looking forward to the ceremony in March,\u201d concludes Ben. \u201cWe\u2019re a close-knit team who are still as passionate as ever about the equestrian community.
