About the tester:<\/strong> Kate has two horses, Sophy and Milly, who she competes in eventing and dressage respectively. Kate is also a member of the local riding club and shares her passion for horses with her mum.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

About the product: <\/strong> Carr & Day & Martin Cornucrescine Daily Hoof Dressing<\/a> is a nourishing dressing based on the original Cornucrescine formula as a minimum requirement for hoof care. It is part of their range of daily hoof care which includes the Conruscrescine Daily Hoof Moisturiser<\/a>, Cornucrescine Daily Hoof Barrier<\/a> and Cornucrescine Tea Tree Hoof Oil<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What were your first impressions?<\/strong> “I was keen to get started with this product as I felt that with all the dry weather we have been having, now would be the time to really put to this type of product to the test! My first impression was that the Cornucrescine Daily Hoof Dressing was much thicker in comparison to other brands I have previously used, and had a liquorish-type smell to it. It was super handy having a built-in brush as it was much easier to keep track of where my brush was (!) and also meant that it was easily portable.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How was the sizing? <\/strong>“I felt that the 500ml tin is a useful size. Its small enough that it fits nicely in my grooming box but large enough that the product lasts easily over a month with every day use!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you test the product? <\/strong>“I applied liberally the hoof dressing every morning to Milly\u2019s hoof wall. It left her feet looking glossy and conditioned. It is also possible to apply to the sole if required.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was your favourite feature? <\/strong>“The Cornucrescine Daily Hoof Dressing positively aided Milly\u2019s feet through this really dry period where her feet may have otherwise struggled. Milly\u2019s feet have grown more than usual and she\u2019s had very few cracks in her hooves during this month, her feet look more nourished and supple because of the consistent use.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any other comments?<\/strong> “I have also taken interest in the fact that there are 3 corresponding steps to the cornucrescine system (if required) \u2013 the supplement, hoof ointment and the daily dressing. It is reassuring to know that if Milly\u2019s feet needed further support that there are additional stages within this range. I have had such a positive result from using just the daily dressing that I would not hesitate to try the other steps if I felt Milly was requiring it.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
