What were your first impressions? <\/strong>“I\u2019ve been putting off getting new riding boots for ages but have always loved the look of the Sovereign Boots so I was really excited to try them. They look so smart, and I also really liked that they come with a boot bag in the box. The two-tone of the brown colour is really eye-catching, top shape is really flattering” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How was the sizing & fit? <\/strong>“In the past I have really struggled to find long boots that fit. I am often between a UK5 and UK6 which means I either have to go for shoes that are a little too small or too big. As these come in a UK5.5 it means they fit perfectly! The narrow calf was really comfortable, however the regular height was slightly too tall when I had my stirrups at a jumping length, so I popped a set of heel wedges in them for a couple of weeks until they dropped a little.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you test the product? <\/strong>“I wore these Mountain Horse Boots whenever I rode, so around four times a week out hacking, schooling and even to a local riding club clinic. They are noticeably different to my old boots; the leather is really supple, and they have an elasticated panel down the back so I found that I had a lot more flexibility across my calves and around my ankles. After wearing the boots for a month, they feel really comfortable and \u2018worn in\u2019 like I have been wearing them for years, but they still look like new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I was wearing these boots around the yard a lot more, a slightly more padded insole would be the only change I would make, but for riding in they are ideal.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was your favourite feature? <\/strong>“I love the colour and look of these boots! It\u2019s hard to get \u2018off the shelf\u2019 boots that aren\u2019t just plain black or brown, so it\u2019s great to get something traditional with a modern twist.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any other comments? <\/strong>“So many people have commented on these boots when I\u2019ve worn them, saying how smart they look. As the boots fit so well, if I ever need to replace these, I will definitely consider getting another pair!” <\/p>\n\n\n
