The Bucas Power 150g Medium Turnout Rug is the ultimate blend of strength, durability and quality. It provides exceptional comfort for your horse throughout wear, at both lower and higher temperatures.

It is engineered with a waterproof 1680 denier ballistic nylon outer; ballistic nylon means the pattern of the weave that makes the material less prone to tearing. It is a very tough fabric which is very durable and less resistant to tearing. This material has a heat-reflective aluminium inner coating, which combined with the sun reflective outer, extends the temperature range in which the Power Turnout can be used and keeps your horse cosy and warm.

Inside this Bucas Turnout is 150g of insulation, and a Stay-Dry antibacterial lining which means the rug can be put on a damp horse the same way as you would a cooler rug. This lining will quickly dry the horse and can be left on, thus avoiding extra rug changes and saving time!

The Classic-Cut standard neck shape features carefully placed shoulder darts for a tailored fit across the chest and to allow maximum freedom to graze. A Click'n Go front fastening with Snap-lock helps to keep the Power Turnout secure and in place. This closure eliminates the need for Hook & Loop closures.

Completed with a generous tail flap, cross surcingles and a deluxe tail cord, plus attachments for a Combi Neck Cover, the Bucas Power Turnout is the ultimate choice for your horse to wear in the field when the temperatures start to cool.

The Bucas Power Turnout Rugs can either be used alone or as part of Bucas' Layering System, which allows you to use Bucas Quilts, Coolers or Liner Rugs underneath to easily increase the rugs warmth and insulation.

    Fitting Guide

    1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg.
    2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
    3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
    4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
    5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
    6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.
