The WeatherBeeta Green-Tec 900D 50g Combo Neck Turnout Rug has been created using recycled plastics for the outer and lining, meaning each rug saves over 340 plastic bottles from going into the ocean or landfill! The way it is manufactured uses over 50% less energy than other rugs. Plus, it is packaged in recyclable packaging that is also made from PCR (post-consumer recyclable plastic).

Although this rug is environmentally friendly, it still features all the great technology you would expect from a WeatherBeeta Turnout Rug! It boasts a waterproof and breathable 900 denier PCR outer from recycled bottles, a strong 150 denier diamond weave lining PCR fabric, a combo neck for added coverage and a traditional side gusset for natural movement.

The quick clip front closure also offers maximum adjustability, with twin low cross surcingles, large tail flap for protection, and removable, adjustable leg straps.

    Rug Care Guide

    It is often advisable to take your Turnout Rugs (and Stable Rugs) to a professional rug cleaning service that has the specialist equipment required. Hand washing will, however, help to prolong the life of your Rug. Follow these simple steps:

    1. Remove excess dirt
    2. Hand wash at a cool temperature using a non-biological soap (washing in high temperatures can damage the waterproof nature of the fabric)
    3. Drip dry. Do not tumble dry
    4. Always store in a cool, dry place

    Please note: most WeatherBeeta Rugs are sold with their own handy storage bag - the perfect container for them when not in use.

    Measure Your Rug
    Fitting Guide

    1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg (A to B).
    2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
    3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
    4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
    5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
    6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.
