What were your first impressions? “I really liked the metal bottle! Much more “horse-proof!” It is a really sturdy bottle that doesnt feel like it is going to break or leak. I also really liked the smell of it!”
How did you test the product? “I used the coat spray as part of my normal grooming routine. A little before I groomed and a little after to really make Toffee shiny.”
What was your favourite feature? “I really love the smell. I also like that a little goes a long way, and gives the effect of them having a bath but with so much less effort.”

What were your first impressions? “First impression was that it smells AMAZING; I wasn’t expecting it to smell so good. It was easy to apply as the bottle has a wide spray, with a handy ‘on-off’ closure, and I found that less-was-more. I only need a couple of sprays to cover each side. I’ve used quite a few Carr & Day & Martin products in the past (such as the Canter Mane & Tail, and their Stain Master), but have never tried Dreamcoat. After using it for a month it will now always be an essential in my grooming kit as I was really impressed with it!”
How did you test the product? “I have been using the spray most days for a month now when grooming my horse and am really impressed with it. After brushing my horse, I applied the product and let it dry for about 10 seconds, then lightly brush over it. You can instantly see a difference! Even the following day, his coat still looks shiny as the spray helps to stop dust sticking. I’ve had quite a few comments from other people on the yard saying how good his coat looks. It was really handy to use when just giving my horse a quick flick over before tacking up, as it smartened him up quickly and easily.”

What was your favourite feature? “With other coat sprays I’ve found them to feel quite sticky once applied and they really irritate the skin on my hands (I suffer from sensitive skin). Dreamcoat made my horse’s coat silky-smooth but didn’t leave a residue on my hands and didn’t have that ‘siliconey’ feel to it”
Any other comments? “I really like that the bottle is made from aluminium, making it more eco-friendly than other brands (and more durable compare to flimsy plastic bottles). It does make it heavier, so I might consider a smaller bottle in my show kit. I will definitely be considering adding more of the Carr & Day & Martin range to my grooming kit after using this, as I’ve always found any of their product I’ve tried to have positive results.”
