Meet the Tester

Lucy has recently bought a new horse named Rex to retrain. She plans to compete in RoR showing competitions with Rex as well as doing some fun rides.

About the product

Providing maximum protection from knocks or brushing injuries and available in a wide range of colours, the Woof Wear Club Brushing Boots are a timeless design that are popular for a range of disciplines. Suitable for front and hind legs, they are made from a light and flexible 5.5 mm PX closed cell neoprene which does not retain water. They feature a hard wearing strike pad with added padding and recessed stitching for a longer life.

What were your first impressions?

“The white colour is nice and bright and especially stands out against my bay horse. The material feels good quality but also nice and light. They are very good value.”

How was the sizing & fit?

“The sizing was great! My horse is 17.3hh, so I had a large size for the fronts and an extra-large on the hinds.”

How did you test the product?

“I tested the product by going for a hack and then I had a canter around the arena. The boots were excellent. They stayed in place, didn’t cause the horse to sweat too much or rub.”

What was your favourite feature?

“They are made from neoprene so the material is breathable. Also, if I wanted to wear the boots though a river the horse will not get rubbed because the boots do not hold the water. It means that the boots are super light too!”

Any other comments?

“I highly recommend these boots, regardless of whether you need them for hacking, schooling etc, as they are very adaptable. I have used the Woof Wear Club Brushing Boots for many years and will carry on doing so. They come in an array of colours and sizes and are fairly priced.”
