The Catago FIR-Tech Full Grip Riding Tights are a sporty and feminine design equipped with FIR-Tech technology. The ceramic fibers reflect body heat, therefore increasing blood circulation to help warm up muscles, tendons, and joints quickly.
Catago FIR-Tech is a healing therapy, working with infra-red technology to increase wellness and recovery from work. It helps to increase the blood circulation, therefore delivering higher levels of oxygen round the body to muscle groups targeted when training. The Infra-Red technology helps reduce tension, aches and inflammation.
What were your first impressions?
I was very surprised with how lightweight and soft the riding tights were and was very excited to try them out, especially with the warmer summer starting.
How was the sizing & fit?
I found them very true to size. I’m usually a UK6 / XS and these fitted perfectly. The only criticism I would have is as I’m short (5ft2) I found them on the slightly longer side. I prefer my riding tights to finish just above the ankle and these finished past them. However, as they are so thin this hasn’t affected me, and it’s just a personal preference.
Did the product live up to expectations and how did you test the product?
The riding tights certainly matched the main selling point, making me extremely interested in wearing them! They are advertised with their FIR-Tec technology which helps increase blood circulation therefore delivering more oxygen around the body helping reduce tension, aches, and inflammation. While I suffer from a knee that swells and aches and have recently broken my back (now in recovery), I thought these would be perfect for me and I can tell the difference between when I’ve worn them and when I have not. I notice a big difference in my knee with it not swelling and aching after riding and going into the next day still being fine. My back also did not ache as much as that compared to when these are not worn.
Would you recommend to a friend?
Yes, I’d highly recommend these riding tights especially if you suffer from any previous injuries or aches.
What was your favourite feature?
Obviously, the technology is an exceptional advantage to these riding tights but I also love how they are super lightweight and breathable without being see-through!!
