About the product

What were your first impressions?
“I knew these boots were going to be light, but I was shocked at how light they actually were, despite still feeling quite tough and durable. The first time I used them on my horse, we went out hacking through puddles and down bridlepaths. By the time we got back to the yard, the boots were already dry! I chose brown as I think they look really smart to use at competitions and Riding Club events.”
How was the sizing & fit?
“They fitted my 16.2hh on his front legs, however I would need the next size up for his hind legs. I really like how the boots ‘mould’ around the leg, and are shaped so that they stay in place easily.”
How did you test the product?
“I use these boots every time I ride, whether that’s out hacking, when schooling, or when jumping. They’ve been worn a lot, and I wash them about once a week (they get quite muddy from the lanes around us!), and they still look like new. I’ve now had the boots for over 6 months, and they still look like new – they’re so durable.”
What was your favourite feature?
“How breathable they are. Even after an intense schooling or jumping session in warm weather, Bailey’s legs aren’t sweaty at all when I take the boots off and his legs don’t feel that hot. With the neoprene-style boots I used previously, I found that he would always have sweaty legs after wearing them, and they would hold water when damp.”
Any other comments?
“I would recommend these boots to anyone, and will be looking to purchase the Impact Sports Boots for when we go cross country, just for some additional protection. I have also used these boots on other horses I ride, as after seeing how breathable these Tri-Zone Boots are, I worry about putting anything thicker on.”
