About the product

A perfect rug for all the British weather has to throw as us! The Rambo Duo Force 2.0 Turnout Rug is an exceptionally strong design engineered to offer exceptional protection against the elements, optimum comfort for your horse and ease of use for you! This rug has an extended neck cover for extra coverage, and comes complete with TWO eco liners so you can adjust the rug’s warmth.

What were your first impressions?

The Rambo Duo Force 2.0 with its 2 Eco Liners came in a very durable bag that I know will last for a long time, allowing me to keep it clean, tidy, and well-stored in between use.

How did you test the product?

I used this rug on my mare, Maisey who is a chunky Connemara x Thoroughbred. The quality of the rug is exceptional, with a super-strong 1000D outer fabric and a smooth inner lining which didn’t create any static in comparison to other rugs. The 100g fill is compact and insulating, avoiding any bulkiness and providing a great shield from the cold on winter days.

The two Eco Liners were also made with exceptional design, with a smooth surface in order to be kind on Maisey’s sensitive skin. They attach easily to the outer rug, and are sustainably made which is an excellent step into the future of equine rug production.

The durability of this rug is a real stand-out feature, and I can tell that all the fixtures, Velcro, and other attachments will stay at a great quality for many years to come. Any time I turn her out in this rug, she comes in warm and dry no matter the weather.

What was your favourite feature?

My favourite feature of this rug would be the neck cover which curves with the shape of the neck, allowing it to protect Maisey’s neck and shoulders against the rain, wind, and mud!

Any other comments?

The wipe clean tail cord is perfect for messy horses like Maisey, and I can turn her out in windy, rainy weather without having to worry about her getting wet or cold!
