About the product: The Samshield Shadowmatt Standard Riding Hat is a high quality riding hat that boasts quality and class. Samshield hats can be customised in an almost unlimited amount of ways offering a variety of trims, tops and outer fabric meaning you can have a truly one-off design. The internal comfort foam, “shape memory”-kind, ensures a constant thickness over the years of use. What were your first impressions? “I found the hat was super comfortable! My old hat was very uncomfortable after riding in it for a few hours and because i’m a senior member of pony club, and compete, I wanted a comfortable hat and Samshield is perfect!”
How was the sizing and fit? “I usually am a little difficult to fit due to my head being an odd shape, however the Samshield was super easy and quick to fit.”
How did you test the product? “I went to a dressage competition and the whole time it didn’t feel like I had a bulky hat on my head because of how lightweight they are!”
What was your favourite feature? ” I love that there are vents throughout the hat so it’s completely breathable for your head to keep you nice and cool, especially when you have a long and hard training day.”
