The WeatherBeeta ComFiTec Hexi Shield Combo Neck Fly Rug delivers over 55% UV protection and is engineered with a lightweight 100% nylon mesh with a unique hexagon weave design snag-resistant mesh fabric, which provides increased durability and strength compared to traditional fly rugs.

The yarn boasts reflective properties to help reflect the sun and heat away for additional comfort for your horse, while the ultra belly wrap, integrated neck cover and two-piece full wrap tail flap wraps around the horse’s quarters to ensure maximum coverage.

Looks like an excellent quality rug, I have a rug ripper in the field, and I was hoping that this rug would survive the longest. I loved the fact it has a big neck, a belly flap, and a large tail flap to ensure my horse was covered. The memory foam withers relief pads are also a bonus.

I’ve always liked WeatherBeeta and always comes up true to size. The rug is a tougher material than normal fly rugs meaning that it does take a day or two to settle on the horse from being in the packaging. I chose this size as I already have wb turnouts and found it true to size.

The rug is on my horse which isn’t the rug ripper and has been on him for 4 weeks now and any other rug would have holes or little nicks in it and this one has nothing which is great and means the tougher rugs really do work, and it is worth spending that little bit more for the tougher rugs. I feel confident that this rug will last and I wont need to purchase another one soon.

I would highly recommend this rug to a friend not just because of the toughness of it but also because of the size and coverage it gives the horse or pony. I’m also considering buying another one for my other horse.

My favourite features of the rug have got to be the memory foam pads protecting the wither specially as my horse is an Ex racehorse with a high wither and also the hard wearing of the rug, meaning he stays protected from the flys without having any holes in the rug due to my other horse.
