Junior Sales Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and friendly member of staff to join our retail sales team. You will be working with a team that offer knowledge and advice to customers in an equestrian retail environment. An understanding and interest in horses is necessary in order to offer professional customer service.

Key Skills:

– Must have confidence in selling quality products

– Excellent customer service skills

– Willingness to learn

– Self-driven and time-conscious qualities

– Ability to listen to customer questions and respond accordingly

– Equine experience/product knowledge

Job Roles:

– Assisting customers with purchases in store

– Safety wear fitting

– Loading feed & bedding into customer vehicles

– Operating of stock systems

– General shop duties such as stock taking, order management, tidying etc.

– Telephone operating

– Handling of customer orders through telephone and email

This job would suit someone that has an interest in horses but is looking to progress in a retail environment. Must be over 16 years of age.

Hours of work

The role is for 4 -5 days per week

Pay 

£7.55-£12.25 per hour dependant on age and experience.
