13-year-old, Tichy Sanders who won last year’s Redpost Equestrian BE90 class says, “I’m hoping to be competing in the BE100 this year on the same horse I won on last year, Sparhanger Velvet. Bicton is an amazing venue, it’s sort of home ground for me being so local; the team are always so friendly and welcoming and this event is so unique I would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about entering! The long format was amazing last year, my mare loves going fast so she enjoyed the steeplechase phase and I can’t wait to see what Bicton have built for this year!”

Who to look out for at the event
Cameron Beer
Cameron is one of our Redpost Riders and will be competing in the CCI-L 2* on his own 7 year old Newport Definitely Untouchable and 8 year old Greenlanes Le Bambalou owned by Lucy Strong.

Tichy Sanders
13 year old Tichy won the BE90 class at the 2023 competition. This year Tichy will be riding in the BE100 on 15 year old Sparhanger Velvet owned by Camilla Albery.
Xanthe Baylis
The winner of the BE90 Open at last years trials, Xanthe is taking on her first 2* at this years event on her own Monbeg by Magic a 14 year old gelding.
Lydia Heywood
Lydia has two horses entered into the CCI-L 2*, 9 year old gelding Just the Biscuit and Colacentric a 13 tear old mare owned by David Howden.
Miss Alison Stewart
Following her 4th place finish at last years grass routes championship at Badminton, Alison is entered on Rico III, a 19 year old gelding owned by Alison.
