What were your first impressions? “Having used many different fly sprays in the past I have really struggled to find one that is strong enough to keep away all types of flies, but not too strong that it makes me feel ill to use it! When I first opened it I noticed it had a really nice sweet smell that isn’t too overpowering and I find that the smell does not affect me as much.”
What did you like most about the product? “At my yard we seem to have a lot of bot flies, these really antagonise the horses and cause them to run round the field to try and get away from them, or stamp and fidget while tied up. Within a couple of seconds of spraying the horses with FlyGard Extra Strength I noticed a difference in the amount of flies around and the behaviour of the horses; the bot flies and horse flies disappeared and the pesky “house flies” didn’t like to land on the horses.”
Any other comments? “The spray lasted well throughout our hack and continued to last long after we got back while he was chilling in the field, so much so that I made sure all the other horses were sprayed liberally in it before I left! I now spray every horse, and myself, before I do anything at the yard and it stops us all from being bothered and we can enjoy our day”
