About the tester: Ellen is Redpost’s Marketing Assistant and has recently moved down to Devon with her horse Jack, who she has owned since she was 13.

About the product: The Redpost Adapt Riding Tights are constructed from a spandex-blend fabric for ultimate durability and performance. With a super-soft feel, these supremely comfortable riding tights are designed to hug every rider with a close, flattering, and supportive fit.

What were your first impressions? “I bought these intially as I thought they were really good value for money. I also really liked that there were pockets on each thigh, as well as them being full grip to keep me feeling secure in the saddle.”

How was the sizing & fit? “I think these leggings fit true to size. They are a really flattering design with contouring stitching which I really loved.”

How did you test the product? “I have worn these leggings EVERWHERE! Mucking out, at the yard, to ride in, to do a food shop, the list goes on and on. The discreet full grip ‘R’s are really subtle so I don’t feel like a total horse -girl if I wear them out in public. The pockets were perfect in the hotter weather, I could put my car keys and my phone in the pockets without them having to go in the same one and ending up looking really lumpy. It also meant I didn’t have to wear a jacket with pockets in the sweltering heat! The pockets are really deep so I wasn’t afraid my keys were going to fall out while cantering around fields. They were really comfortable, especially to ride in for long periods of time, as I find sometimes the waistband of other riding pants can dig in after a while.”

What was your favourite feature? “It has to be the pockets. They are just so handy and made my life so much easier this summer and i’m sure they will be great this winter as well – as I won’t have to fiddle with zipped pockets with gloves on if I need to keep my phone or keys easy to access.
