The Schockemohle Equitus Beta Anatomic Bridle is designed to provide optimal comfort and performance for your horse. Made of premium quality leather, it has been expertly crafted to avoid the main facial nerve, protecting important blood vessels and reducing pressure on the horse’s neck. The strategically placed check pieces can be easily adjusted by attaching them directly to the noseband with button rivets. The anatomically shaped headpiece and a curved browband that is generously padded, prevent pinching around the eyes and ears, while the placement of the flash strap allows for unrestricted breathing. ” I was very excited about getting to try this bridle it looks so stylish especially with the diamanté browband,which it comes with, meaning I don’t need to go and buy a separate one to ‘bling’ my horse up even more. Most importantly it also looks very comfortable for my horse and I looked forward to trying on Apple as she is very sensitive so I was interested to see if it makes any difference. Usually, she is ridden in a grackle to jump and compete but I’m hoping with the placement of the flash to the sides instead of to a point in the middle and how padded both the noseband and the headpiece are, this will relieve pressure and she will be happy and comfortable. “
“I found the fit to be on the smaller side with the noseband, however, the headpiece and browband were generous. Apple is usually cob size in everything; with the noseband she was on the biggest it would go however, wouldn’t be able to go any bigger for the rest of the bridle as there was plenty of room. The leather is very soft and supple and after a couple of rides the noseband and flash leather had given and could be done up another hole. “
“I tested the product by riding apple both on the flat and to jump. The results were amazing! I had a much happier horse, she was definitely more relaxed and supple. “
“My favourite feature is the technical aspect and how they have contoured the bridle to relieve pressure on the horse’s face making it more comfortable for them whilst being ridden as I’m sure this is what has made the difference to Apple being much happier and more relaxed as nothing else has changed. “
“I found the bridle to be a lot lighter in comparison to other ones and I believe this is due to the fact there is less leather as it’s all one piece. Having said that it does make it harder to adjust the bit height as its all connected, not impossible to do and there are several different heights you can chose from, just harder than the standard bridle with cheek pieces. Overall, I love this bridle and highly recommend anyone with a sensitive horse in particular to try this one. “
