You might be asking, so what do Stübben’s Equi-Soft girths offer than traditional girths don’t, and here’s the answer: At the heart of the Equi-Soft’s anatomical design is its unique system of elastic bands. These bands stretch and contract with each breath, allowing the horse’s ribcage to expand freely and distributing pressure evenly across the sternum. This dynamic flexibility is what sets the girth apart.
However, proper adjustment is key. The girth must lie centered on the sternum and be tightened evenly on both sides — a process that takes a bit of trial and error. Once you’ve found the correct holes your tack up will be quick and consistent.
