    Equus Health Feeding Advice

    • Give two tablets twice a day for the first three weeks to get it into the system, you may not notice any effects straight away as sometimes it takes a while to work with the horse depending on the problem. The size of your horse makes no difference - feeding instructions are the same.
    • If feeding longer term, then give one tablet twice a day after the first three weeks and have one week off, every three months.
    • Tablets should not be fed by putting into the horses feed and should instead by placed directly into the soft tissue of the mouth, if the horse will allow, or alternatively be given within a small handful of chaff or placed into a piece of carrot/apple. Try to handle the tablets as little as possible

  • As the 30C is stronger than the 200C, what would be the dose for a 14.2hh, and do you stock the 30C?

    Hi Sherri, thank you for your enquiry. We do stock the 30C version of this product here: https://www.redpostequestrian.co.uk/horse-care/supplements/equus-health-thuja--30c--sarcoids__6993. According to Equus Health, the dosage shouldn't change depending on the size of horse or pony, or the product's potency. They advise an initial loading dose of 2 tablets twice a day for the first 3 weeks, and if feeding longer term feed one tablet twice a day after the first three weeks, and have one week without feeding every 3 months.     Hello, We have spoken with our supplier regarding this and they have advised that 'the lower the 'C' the stronger it is so the 30C is stronger than the 200C, so it depends on the size or amount of sarcoids you are trying to clear. You can give 2x tablets twice a day.
  • We are feeding the 30C tablets to my dog who has a wart on his eyeline. I am looking to give a higher potency - how many tablets should I give him?

    Hi Kimberley, we have spoken with Equus Health and they advise that the way homeopathy works is that the lower the number (C) the stronger it is so the 30C is stronger than the 200C. They suggest feeding 2x tablets twice a day.
  • Would this be suitable for my dog who has a vet diagnosed wart? If so, how many should I feed per day?

    Hi Linda, I have checked with our supplier and they have advised feeding 2 tablets twice or three times daily for a couple of weeks. If, after this time, you can then see a change you can lower the dosage to one to two tablets twice a day then gradually feeding one twice a day.
