Hi Sarah. Yes the measurements provided on this page are the internal width of the Tubbease Hoof Sock.

My horse's hoof measures approximately 152mm, which size would you suggest?

Hi Linda, if your horse's measurement is in between Tubbease sizes, it might be worth considering the bigger size (e.g. the 155mm blue). This will allow room for growth, however, if your horse is due to be shod, you may need the smaller size. Hope this helps.

Can these boots be worn for road work or hacking out?

Hi there, The Shoof Tubbease Hoof Socks are not designed to be worn during exercise. They are engineered to be used for tubbing or soaking, or in conjunction with hoof dressings and poultices.

Can they be used with a shod hoof?

Can a laminitic pony go for walks wearing these boots?

Hi Jean, We would suggest you seek veterinary advice as it depends on how bad the laminitis is as to whether or not the pony can go for walks. If the vet says you're able to our supplier recommends that you in-hand walk the pony on grass if possible, to use the inserts and to only go for short walks. I hope this helps.

Hello Julie, these Tubbease Hoof Socks can be used on any of your horse's feet, you just need to ensure you purchase the correct size for each foot. The lower (coloured) part of the boot is waterproof, however the fabric part is not. I hope this helps.
