The Horseware Micklem 2 Multi Bridle is based on the original Micklem design, with an array of updates to further increase comfort for your horse. This bridle is more humane, enabling your horse to perform at their best.
Extremely versatile, it can be used in many different ways! It can be used as a bridle, as a lunge cavesson, and as a bitless bridle in three different ways.
Crafted from the inside out to overcome the five main areas of bridle discomfort, the Micklem Bridle eliminates pressure on the nerves, ears and poll, and is carefully shaped to minimise internal mouth damage. It overcomes numbness in the lower half of your horse's face that can be caused by pressure on the sensitive facial nerves, and helps to prevent the restriction of breathing, traditionally caused by low fitting nosebands. The unique design also removes discomfort and pain under the tongue, also caused by pressure.
These benefits are all thanks to the Micklem's carefully construction; an anatomically shaped headpiece truly mirrors the shape of your horse's head, sitting comfortably around the horse's ears. As well as looking extremely smart, the bridle is equipped with a wider nosepiece which creates a wider bearing surface over the front of the nose.
A small, innovative curve has been added to the lower back straps, which enables the bridle to fit more comfortably around the bit. The upper back straps are positioned higher than on other styles, which slightly pulls the cheekpiece backwards, to it and the headpiece away from the horse's ears. These little changes make a significant difference to the comfort of your horse.
Softer and more akin to traditional European leather, the DD Eco leather Micklem Bridles are engineered from has the added benefits of being vegetable tanned, meaning the leather is coloured using natural dye components. While being better for the environment, it is also REACH compliant.
Finished with refined roller buckles for a premium look, and softened angles of the entire bridle, the Micklem 2 Multi Bridle is a versatile choice for any horse.
Hire items are available on a 10-day trial (this starts from the day you receive your item). You are required to pay for this item in full; if the item is returned to us because you do not wish to keep it, then your original order will be refunded minus a £25 hire fee.
