The Ariat Palisade Tall Ladies Riding Boots are a quality design that boasts exceptional comfort, along with offering a traditional appearance with a modern, stylish twist.

Crafted from premium full-grain leather, with a full leather lining and a moisture-wicking sock liner that helps to keep your feet feeling fresh and cool, these boots ensure comfort all day long. An All Day Cushioning insole with rebound combined with 4LR™ technology aids this. The 4LR™ technology footbed has a temperature managing layer for odour-protection and also has a stability system that supports the heel and arch without compromising on movement.

A full-length elasticised panel on the lateral side, with an elastic gusset on the inside of the knee, provides flexibility throughout wear, while the full-length YKK® rear zip makes these boots easy to put on and take off.

Delivering a traditional appearance with front laces and an ultra-contoured fit through the ankle, the Palisade Boots are ideal for both everyday riding and competition use. They are finished with a Duratread outsole with rider-tested traction zones. This exclusive rubber sole is longer-lasting than traditional rubber and provides maximum wear resistance. It is extremely durable yet flexible and also highly resistant to barnyard acids.

I am between two calf sizes - which should I go for?

Hi Ande, we would suggest considering the smaller of the two sizes as the boots will stretch during wear thanks to the elasticated panels, and due to the nature of the leather. If you are planning on wearing thick socks or winter breeches, it may be worth considering sizing up. We do accept exchanges and returns if the size you try isn't quite right. Which Ariat boots have a zip guard?

Hi Maria, the Ariat Palisade and also the Ariat Nitro Max (https://www.redpostequestrian.co.uk/footwear/long-boots/ariat-nitro-max-ladies-tall-riding-boots--black__193747) have zip guards to prevent the zip from falling down. I hope this helps.
