    Measure Your Rug

    Fitting Guide

    1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg (A to B).
    2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
    3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
    4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
    5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
    6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.

  • Is this thinner than the thermatex style rugs?

    Hi Zoe, thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately, we do not have a Thermatex rug to compare this rug with, however this rug has no fill and is made with a polyester waffle outer and has high wicking properties, helping to dry your horse quickly and effectively while wicking away sweat.     Hello Rachel, the binding on this Rambo Rug is black, however, the main image may show this as a slightly different shade.
