The EquiAirbag® EAB V4 Pro is the pinnacle of equestrian safety gear for horse riders looking for the ultimate protection in the event of a fall. It has three certifications: two attesting to the highest level of protection according to the Motorcycle airbag standard, which is the most comprehensive. In addition, a third certification validates its use in equestrian disciplines.

This unique design is engineered with two dual synchronised airbag systems that automatically inflate to comprehensively protect a rider's upper body when they come away from their horse. The front 10-litre airbag system covers the thorax, chest, and abdomen, while the rear 15-litre airbag system delivers protection to the cervical, back and coccyx areas.

The EAB V4 Pro comes with an activation strap that clips onto a separate attachment that the rider secures to the stirrup bars on their saddle. When pressure is applied to the activation strap, such as the movement caused by a fall, it rapidly deploys the canister in approximately 80-milliseconds, which inflates the two airbags inside the jacket. These airbags inflate fully outwards, without constricting the rider. The jacket will start to deflate in about 30 seconds, and the canister in the EAB V4 Pro can be easily replaced after activation.

Suitable for wear during both training and competitions and designed to be worn over a jacket or your riding clothing, the EquiAirbag® is extremely versatile and comfortable to wear. It has been crafted from soft elastic softshell with a 3D mesh lining for maximum breathability, and the side panels feature carefully placed zips that can be opened to give extra room, allowing the rider to wear a body protector underneath if required.
