The Catago FIR-Tech Pro Tendon Pad is an innovative design that can be used pre- and post-exercise, along with for general use and to aid your horse. The tendon pad reaches its core temperature in just a few minutes, providing constant long-wave infrared heat which soothes, comforts and relaxes the muscles and connective tissue.

These unique FIR-Tech Pro products work with Active Carbon fibers and are particularly suitable for use with tendons, joints and muscles. The purpose is to stimulate and promote the self-healing processes, that are always present within the body. It has been shown, that the effects of Active Longwave Infrared Radiation significantly help to increase the blood flow and reduce tension in muscles. These relaxing properties of Active Long-Wave Infrared Radiation make the FIR-Tech pro products very suitable to be used for sport, wellness and relaxation.

The Tendon Pad has three different heat settings with an easy-to-use switch so you can choose the best experience for your horse. Best used in conjunction with the Catago Stable Boots (shown in the additional images), however can be used with other stable boots depending on their suitability.

    Directions For Use:
    In just a few minutes, the Active Infrared unit reaches its core temperature and provides constant Long-Wave Infrared Heat which are very pleasant, comforting and relaxing for muscles and the connective tissue.

    The Active Infrared Heat can be adjusted in 3 levels to ensure the most convenient experience.
    - Preparation before riding ”pre-heating” the tissue: High level (RED) 15 - 20 minutes
    - Relaxation of tissue after riding: Medium level (BLUE) up to 30 minutes - up to 2 times daily
    - General use/wellness: Medium to high level (RED/BLUE) - 15 - 30 minutes • - up to 2 times daily
    - When using the lowest level (GREEN) the application can be used for up to 40 minutes (depending on outside temperature)

    • FIR-Tech fabric is produced by recycled materials & the fabric production is ISO 14001 certified
