The Guardian Horse Standard Mask is a multi-purpose design that can be used in a wide array of situations. Not only can it be used as a fly mask, but it is engineered as an equine UV protection medical garment, providing protection and coverage to your horse's face and eyes.

This mask comes complete with a pair of 95% Sunshades, which are interchangeable eye 'cups' that sit over your horse's eyes. These sunshades deliver over 95% UV protection and so help to reduce UV from harming the eyes, and also stop pesky bugs from bothering your horse. Their raised design means they sit well away from the lens, making them beneficial during the healing process of many injuries and ailments such as uveitis, headshaking, cataracts, eye cancer, glaucoma and more.

Extremely versatile, the Guardian Mask can also be used over or under your horse's bridle during ridden or inhand work. Various tabs on the Standard Mask allow nose covers and other accessories to be attached if required.

Guardian suggest that even if your horse only has one 'bad eye' and the opposite eye is in good condition, you should still use the 95% Sunshades on both eyes. It takes aggressive treatment to keep conditions under control and to lessen the chance of the good eye being affected.

    How to find the right size for your horse or pony:

    1. Measure from the very centre of your horse's right eye lens, across the forehead to the very centre of the left eye lens.

    2. Measure again from the very centre of your horse's right eye lens, down and under the jaw and back up to the very centre of the left eye lens.
